ARCHITECTURAL COMPETITION FOR THE DESIGN, SUPERVISION, AND QUALITY CONTROL OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL CENTER OF ERRACHIDIA – 3RD PRIZE
Site constraints informed the adoption of a linear and orthogonal layout, allowing for a building that extends along its length to ensure optimal proximity and functional synergy between services.
The overall organization of the facility is intentionally straightforward and highly legible, aiming to facilitate intuitive navigation and clear identification of departments—even for first-time users unfamiliar with the premises.
Additionally, a series of patios and interior gardens are strategically integrated throughout the building. These elements not only introduce abundant natural light into the core of the structure and create calming, restorative atmospheres, but also serve as spatial anchors, enhancing orientation and visual continuity within the interior layout.
