DEVELOPMENT PROJECT OF THE AL MAJD 2 SOCIAL COMPLEX IN RABAT

The project is characterized by a contemporary architectural language articulated through assertive, minimalist lines and a composition of interlocking monolithic volumes. The material palette—comprising exposed concrete, glass, metal, and locally sourced Taza stone—reinforces the tectonic clarity and material authenticity of the design.
A cantilevered canopy with inclined geometries frames the structure, establishing a bold formal gesture within the site. The façade treatment explores a calibrated interplay of solids and voids, enhancing spatial porosity and generating a rhythmic, dynamic elevation. Transparency is strategically employed to blur the threshold between interior and exterior, fostering spatial continuity and environmental responsiveness.
The building asserts itself as a visual anchor within its urban context, conceived as a spatial landmark that engages in a subtle dialogue with the adjacent orientation center. By referencing select elements of the existing architectural vocabulary, the project ensures a coherent volumetric integration across the site
The composition balances monumentality and restraint, with the articulated façade rhythm reinforcing the building’s legibility and presence. Ultimately, the structure establishes itself as a civic marker and a defining element of the surrounding urban fabric.
